Remember, based on hard drive size and the amount of cameras, calculated with the amount of motion being recorded from your cameras storage, times vary significantly. Staten Island Security Cameras can increase memory by adding another hard drive into your existing DVR, call for a quote.
TO SEARCH BACK FOR PREVIOUS FOOTAGE AND VIEW
From main menu right click on screen and click magnifying glass.
Go to time search then click start date and start time.
Click play. Watch video.
To exit right click and press playback then click square stop button
TO MAKE A COPY TO A FLASH DRIVE
Insert flash drive into front of DVR.
Right click on main screen and go to copy.
Select as many cameras as you want to record by highlighting them.
Select player then enter start and end times.
Click Copy to USB - Are you sure – Yes.
When complete remove from DVR and insert into PC or laptop to view.
You may have to install the player that automatically downloads to your flash drive into the computer you are trying to view on. This is done because computers vary greatly in their ability to decode compressed videos from DVR’s so the DVR’s have their own media players if needed.
