Remember, based on hard drive size and the amount of cameras, calculated with the amount of motion being recorded from your cameras storage, times vary significantly. Staten Island Security Cameras can increase memory by adding another hard drive into your existing DVR, call for a quote.
TO SEARCH BACK FOR PREVIOUS FOOTAGE AND VIEW
From main screen, right click. Then click Menu (default password Is 12345). Click Playback
On top choose Analog 1 for Camera One and Analaog 2 for Camera Two etc...
You can choose as many cameras as you want to view.
Pick Date then drag bar across bottom to choose time to start.
Press Play button located directly under video box.
Press Play, watch video.
TO MAKE A COPY TO A FLASH DRIVE
From main screen Right click Go to Menu.
Insert flash drive into front of DVR.
Go to Playback. Under “Mark Clip For Backup” press Start
Drag bar on bottom to your desired start time (make sure date is correct).
You may press S+, M+, or H+ to advance by Seconds, Minutes, or Hours.
When you reach desired time press Stop, under “Mark Clip For Backup”.
Then click Save. Go to clips backup, choose file to be burned, press backup
Remove flash drive and insert into pc or laptop to view.
You may have to install the player that automatically downloads to your flash drive into the computer you are trying to view on. This is done because computers vary greatly in their ability to decode compressed videos from DVR’s so the DVR’s have their own media players if needed.
