Remember, based on hard drive size and the amount of cameras, calculated with the amount of motion being recorded from your cameras storage, times vary significantly. Staten Island Security Cameras can increase memory by adding another hard drive into your existing DVR, call for a quote.
TO SEARCH BACK FOR PREVIOUS FOOTAGE AND VIEW
From main menu right click on screen (default password is 123456) unless you previously set your own.
Click small book icon located on bottom left of screen.
Go to search. Enter time and date. Press play arrow
To close click X on bottom right of screen.
TO MAKE A COPY TO A FLASH DRIVE
Insert flash drive into front of DVR.
Right click on main screen.
Click small book icon located on bottom left of screen.
Enter start and end times.
Check all cameras or as many as you want to view.
Click search, then choose file (as many as you want to record).
Click backup then change DVR to AVI and click start.
When you are done remove flash drive and insert into laptop or pc to view
You may have to install the player that automatically downloads to your flash drive into the computer you are trying to view on. This is done because computers vary greatly in their ability to decode compressed videos from DVR’s so the DVR’s have their own media players if needed.
